Nonlocal longitudinal vibration in a nanorod, a system theoretic analysis

چکیده

Analysis of longitudinal vibration in a nanorod is an important subject science and engineering due to its vast application nanotechnology. This paper introduces port-Hamiltonian formulation for the vibrations nanorod, which shows that this model essentially hyperbolic. Furthermore, it investigates spectral properties associated system operator. Standard distributed control feedback are shown not be controllable nor stabilizing.
